To improve the current robustness estimation, a maritime robustness approach (de Vos, 2018) is compared to and verified by a general network robustness approach (Van Mieghem, 2010). The first studied approach is verified by the second approach. However, the applicability of the robustness measure remains limited due to the graph requirements generally accepted within the field of graph theory.
