Definition of a Variable Conductance Heat Pipe (VCHP) for the experimental verification of the VCHP mathematical model developed at NLR

This memorandum describes the definition of a Variable Conductance Heat Pipe (VCHP) to be used for the experimental verification of the VCHP mathematical model developed at the NLR. Both typical design aspects of a versatile test VCHP and proper test conditions, that must lead to the model verification, are discussed in detail.
