The Port of Rotterdam is developing a hydrogen and CO2 pipeline bundle for industry in NRW. By applying a Multi-Criteria Analysis to this case, a model is created that evaluates this pipeline bundle against the criteria of the industry in North Rhine-Westphalia. The system analysis is used as the basis for the model, industry objectives are used as key performance indicators, and external factors affecting the system are included as parameters. Experiments with the model have shown that in addition to technical and economic aspects, policy and social consensus must be closely monitored for the future succes of the pipeline bundle.
